Jeju will inspect multilingual information systems at major tourist attractions to improve travel convenience for foreign visitors.

The province will work with related organizations, including the Smart Tourism Research Support Center at Jeju National University.

A monitoring team made up mainly of international students will take part in the inspection.

The review will cover major tourist sites, beaches, volcanic cones also known as Oreums, public transportation, air and sea ports, as well as public facilities.

Following the inspection, Jeju Province plans to compile the original text, existing signage, types of errors, and recommended revisions, and then request improvements from the relevant tourist sites and affiliated organizations.
