Apartment prices rise slightly
Up 0.09% in last week of August

The prices of apartments in Jeju and the cost to rent them have both risen slightly.

The Korea Appraisal Board says that, as of August 29th, prices were up 0.09 percent from a week earlier. Prices for “jeonse” rentals, in which tenants make a substantial deposit upfront which is then returned in full at the end of the contract, were up a mere 0.05 percent.

Meanwhile, the number of units at which landlords changed the type of rent from jeonse to monthly rent or vice versa, dropped from 7 percent in January to 6 percent in August.

제주 아파트 매매·전세가격 소폭 상승

제주지역 아파트 매매와 전세 가격 모두 소폭 상승했습니다.

한국감정원에 따르면 지난달 29일 기준 주간 아파트 가격 동향에 따르면 도내 아파트 매매가격은 전주보다 0.09% 상승했습니다.

아파트 전세 가격도 전주보다 0.05% 올랐습니다.

한편 지난달 도내 전월세전환률은 6%로 지난 1월 7%를 기록한 이후 하락세를 이어가고 있습니다.
