Free flu shots for children and seniors
Available at local health clinics from Oct. 4


Jeju Province will provide free flu shots for children and seniors starting this week.

The Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention will provide the free influenza vaccinations to children over 6 months and under 5 years old, as well as to those over 60.

Newborns will be required to receive two doses of the vaccination, to be administered four weeks apart.

Authorities are asking that residents be proactive in getting their flu shots by visiting their local health clinic.

내달 4일부터 영유아·어르신 인플루엔자 접종

제주특별자치도가 다음달(10월) 4일부터
영유아와 60살 이상 어르신에 대한
인플루엔자 무료 예방접종을 실시합니다.

대상은 생후 6개월에서 59개월 미만의 영유아와
60살 이상의 어르신으로 14만명입니다.

특히 처음 인플루엔자 접종을 받는 영유아의 경우
4주 간격으로
2차례에 걸쳐 예방접종을 받아야 합니다.

제주도는 건강한 겨울나기를 위해
가까운 병의원에서 인플루엔자 접종을 받고
개인위생 수칙의 준수를 당부하고 있습니다.
