Novelist Jo Jung-rae holds special lecture in Jeju Oct. 5
Looks towards Jeju’s future


Author Jo Jung-rae(조정래), known for the best-selling novels Taebaek Mountain Range, Arirang, and Han River will hold a special lecture on October 5th at 3pm in the KCTV auditorium.

The topic of the lecture is ‘Our Culture and Jeju’s Future.’

Jo Jung-rae has sold over 15 million copies of the popular multi-volume novels Taebaek Mountain Range and Arirang, which have become modern classics ever since their publication in the 1980s.

Now in his 70s, Jo recently published ‘A Grass Flower is Also a Flower,’ the most recent of his novels to become a best-seller.
