Everyone welcome to sell, barter items

Anyone on the island is welcome to participate this Saturday in a special market at the Jeju Citizen Welfare Town Plaza where they will be able to sell or trade items for which they have no use.

The so-called “environmental market” is aimed at reducing daily waste. Some 30 public organizations and corporations will take part.

Anyone can become a vendor at the event regardless of their affiliation with the participating companies. No registration is required.

Organizers have prepared a writing contest, quizzes, and eco-friendly arts and crafts activities for children on the sidelines of the market.

8일 제주시민복지타운광장서 환경장터 개최

사용하지 않는 물건을 다른 사람과 교환하거나 판매해 재사용하는
환경 장터가 오는 8일 제주시민복지타운광장에서 열립니다.

생활쓰레기 배출을 줄이고 자원 순환의 중요성에 대한
도민 공감대 확산을 위해 열리는 이번 장터는
도내 30개 공공기관과 기업들이 참여합니다.

환경장터에는 참여기업 임직원외에도
도민 누구나 별도의 신청 절차없이 물건을 판매할 수 있고
교환도 가능합니다.

또 어린이 학생들을 위한 부대행사로 그림 글짓기 대화와
환경 골든벨, 친환경 제품 만들기 등의 부대행사도 진행됩니다.
