Hundreds of additional surveillance cameras to be installed
More emergency bells in public restrooms


Amid a rising number of crimes, the province will install hundreds of additional surveillance cameras and other safety devices.

Authorities will set up 260 CCTVs in 62 areas, including child protection zones and public parks. It will also install emergency bells in 41 public restrooms.

Jeju will also upgrade its ‘Safety Jeju’ app by linking the 1-1-2 emergency center with the CCTV control center.

제주특별자치도는 어린이 보호구역과 도시 공원 등 도내 우범우려 지역 62곳에 CCTV 260대를,
공중화장실과 공원화장실에 비상벨 41개소를 설치합니다.

또 안심제주앱을 개선해 스마트폰을 활용해 112상황실과 CCTV 관제센터가 연계되도록 스마트 안전망도 구축합니다
