BOK to provide special loans to typhoon-damaged companies
Up to ￦200m available per firm at 0.75% APR


The Jeju branch of the Bank of Korea has announced it will provide special loans to companies damaged by Typhoon Chaba.

Eligible local firms, which do not include real estate agencies and finance-related companies, can borrow up to 200 million won.

The companies will be required to pay back the loan within one year at an interest rate of 0.75 percent. Applications for the aid can be submitted at banks across Jeju through the end of this month.

The BOK has announced it will also exchange soaked paper bills for new ones through October 14th.

한국은행, 태풍 피해 업체 특별운전자금 지원

한국은행 제주본부가 태풍 '차바' 피해를 입은 업체를 대상으로 특별운전자금을 지원합니다.

지원 대상은 부동산과 금융관련업 등을 제외한 도내에 소재한 태풍 피해 업체로 최대 2억 원까지 지원합니다.

대출 기간은 1년 이내로 연 0.75%의 금리가 적용되며,이달 말까지 도내 시중은행에서 지원받을 수 있습니다.

이와 함께 오는 14일까지 태풍으로 침수된 화폐 교환 서비스도 진행합니다.
