No charge for electric vehicles at public parking lots
Free parking through end of 2018



The local government will allow drivers of electric vehicles to use public parking lots for free for the next two years.

A recent amendment to parking regulations issued by the provincial government shows that drivers of EVs will allowed to park at no charge through the end of 2018.

The motorists will, however, need to obtain a certificate or sticker issued by the Environment Ministry to take advantage of the parking fee waiver.

Drivers of electric vehicles have until now received a 50 percent discount on parking fees at public lots.

앞으로 전기자동차는 도내 공영주차장을 무료로 이용할 수 있게 됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 주차장 설치와 관리 조례가 개정 공포됨에 따라 오는 2018년까지 한시적으로
전기차의 공영 주차장 이용요금을 전액 감액합니다.

다만 주차요금을 면제받기 위해서는 환경부가 발급하는 전기차 증명서나 스티커를 제시해야 합니다.

지금까지 전기차는 공영 주차장 이용요금의 50%만 혜택을 받았습니다.
