19 apply in new recruitment drive for JDC chief
Over twice as many as last time


Nineteen people responded to the open recruitment drive for the top post at the Jeju Free International City Development Center, an investment arm of the Ministry of Land, Transport and Infrastructure.

The application period closed Monday. The JDC says it received more than double the number of applications it got in a previous recruitment drive. Eleven of the applications came from locals and the remaining eight from other regions.

The state-run JDC executive recommendation committee will first screen the documents that were sent in. Candidate interviews will follow, and then the committee will recommend a finalist to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. If it approves, that ministry will then pass the name on to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, with the land minister making the official nomination of the JDC chief.

JDC 이사장 재공모 마감…19명 지원

제주국제자유도시개발센터 차기 이사장 재공모에 모두 19명이 지원했습니다.

JDC는 지난달부터 오늘까지 차기 이사장 재공모를 진행한 결과 도내 인사 11명 도외 인사 8명 등 모두 19명이 지원했다고 밝혔습니다.

지난 1차 공모 때 8명이 지원한 것보다 두 배가 넘는 지원자가 몰렸습니다.

JDC임원추천위원회는 서류 면접 심사를 거쳐 후보자를 기재부에 추천하고
최종 기재부가 대상자를 국토부에 통보하면 국토부 장관이 최종 이사장 내정자를 임명합니다 .
