More Jeju City women’s restrooms to get panic alarm buttons
Bathrooms in 8 public parks to get safety devices


Jeju City will install panic alarm buttons in several more women’s public restrooms.

Workers will put them in eight public parks, including Sinsan Park, Yongyeon Park, and Sammu Park.

The panic alarm buttons will be installed in each stall in the restroom. When pressed in an emergency, police will be contacted through a control center.

The city plans to eventually install the buttons in all women’s restrooms in its parks, and it is working on the project in phases.

제주시, 여성화장실에 안심벨 추가 설치

제주시가 공원 내 여성화장실에 안심비상벨을 추가로 설치합니다.

안심비상벨이 설치되는 화장실은 안전 취약요인이 많은 곳으로 신산공원, 용연공원, 삼무공원 등 8군데입니다.

안심벨은 여성용 공중화장실 각 부스마다 설치되며 위급 상황이 발생했을 때 통합관제센터 상황실을 거쳐 경찰로 바로 연결됩니다.

제주시는 도시공원 내 모든 여성화장실에 순차적으로 안심벨을 설치해 나갈 계획입니다.
