Nonghyup begins exports of outdoor-grown mandarins
Target: 4,000 tons to 10 countries


Nonghyup has begun this year’s exports of outdoor-grown mandarins.

The Jeju headquarters of Nonghyup has announced plans to export 4,000 tons of the citrus to 10 countries, including the U.S., Russia, and Canada.

That’s 52 percent more than last year’s total of 2,600 tons.

Local growers are getting 524 won per kilogram for the fruit that will be shipped overseas.

농협, 올해산 노지감귤 수출 시작

올해산 노지감귤 수출작업이 본격적으로 시작됐습니다.

농협중앙회 제주지역본부는 올해산 노지감귤 4천여 톤을 미국과 러시아, 캐나다 등 10개 나라에 수출한다고 밝혔습니다.

이같은 수출물량은 지난해 2천600여 톤보다 52% 증가한 것 입니다.

농가 수취가격은 ㎏ 당 534원 입니다.
