Housing market humming along
11% more sales, 31% more rental contracts signed in September


The housing market in Jeju continues to move along at a swift clip.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport says around 960 homes were sold in Jeju last month. That’s 11 percent more than in September 2015.

The number of rental contracts signed jumped 31 percent over the same period to 440. That was the largest growth in the nation.

지난달 주택매매·전월세 거래 증가

제주도내 주택 매매와 전월세 거래가 꾸준히 증가하고 있습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 지난달 제주도내 주택매매거래량은 960여 건으로 지난해 같은 기간보다 11% 증가했습니다.

전월세 거래량은 지난해보다 31% 증가한 440여 건으로 전국에서 가장 높은 증가율을 보이고 있습니다.
