Tax benefits for typhoon victims
Officials ease deadlines and waive certain tax payments


Officials have announced an easing of tax regulations for locals whose property was damaged or destroyed in Typhoon Chaba.

The city of Seogwipo has announced that it will extend the declaration and payment due date of local taxes by a maximum of one year for typhoon victims.

Unpaid local taxes will also be given a one year grace period before collection.

Also, residents who have been forced to acquire new property, ships, or cars due to damage from Typhoon Chaba will not be required to pay acquisition, registration, or automobile taxes.

태풍 피해 주민에 세금 감면 혜택

태풍 차바로 피해를 당한 주민들에게 각종 세금 감면 혜택이 제공됩니다.

서귀포시는 태풍 피해 주민에 대해 지방세 신고 또는 납부기한을 최대 1년까지 연장하기로 했습니다.

또 지방세 체납액에 대해서도 최대 1년까지 징수를 유예합니다.

이와함께 태풍으로 건축물이나 선박, 자동차가 파손돼 새로 취득하는 경우 취득세와 등록면허세, 자동차세를 면제해줄 방침입니다.
