Apartment sale prices up for 9th straight week

Apartment prices in Jeju are up for the ninth straight week.

According to the Korea Appraisal Board, as of October 17th, apartment prices in Jeju were up 0.16 percent from a week earlier. The upward streak began August 29th.

The national average growth in apartment prices for the same week was 0.08 percent. Jeju had the third highest growth in the country, following Busan and Seoul.

“Jeonse” is a system in which tenants pay the landlord a significant sum of money up front, which is returned in full at the end of the lease, and the average price for “jeonse” contracts in Jeju grew at the fastest pace in the nation that particular week: 0.18 percent.

제주도내 아파트 매매가격이 9주 연속 오르고 있습니다.

한국감정원에 따르면 지난 17일 기준 제주도내 아파트 매매가격이 전주보다 0.16% 오르며, 지난 8월 29일 이후 9주 연속 상승세를 이어가고 있습니다.

이같은 상승률은 전국 평균 0.08%를 웃도는 것으로, 전국에서 부산과 서울에 이어 세번째로 높습니다.

전세가격은 전주보다 0.18% 오르며 전국에서 가장 높은 상승률을 보이고 있습니다.
