More exports of Jeju kiwis
From 68 tons in 2015 to 428 tons last year

More Jeju kiwis are being shipped abroad.

According to the Jeju branch of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, 428 tons of red and gold kiwis were shipped abroad last year. That’s over six times as much as the year before, when the total was 68 tons.

Money-wise, exports rose from 320,000 US dollars in 2015 to 1.35 million dollars last year.

Most of the fruit has been shipped to Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Russia.

제주산 키위 수출이 크게 늘었습니다.

한국농수산식품유통공사 제주지역본부에 따르면 레드키위, 골드키위 등 제주산 키위의 지난해 수출 물량은 428t으로 전년 68t보다 무려 다섯배 넘게 늘었습니다.

수출액 역시 2015년 32만달러에서 지난해 135만달러로 증가했습니다.

제주산 키위의 주요 수출국은 일본을 비롯해 싱가포르·홍콩·말레이시아·러시아 등 입니다.
