Tamna Culture Festival begins Wednesday
Variety of cultural activities, demonstrations in Jeju City

The 56th Tamna Culture Festival begins September 20th at Tamna Culture Square.

Organizers divided the festival into four categories and 16 themes this year. The overarching focus of the event is the lives of Tamna people and the revival of Jeju culture.

The schedule includes Tamna-era religious rites, demonstrations of intangible cultural heritage, Jeju language events, and cultural exchange activities.

In order to make the festival easy to attend, the provincial government is opening up the parking lot for the Jeju Port’s international terminal free of charge. Organizers will also be offering shuttle bus service.

제56회 탐라문화제 20일 개막

제56회 탐라문화제가 오는 20일부터 닷새간 탐라문화광장 일대에서 열립니다.

탐라인의 삶, 제주문화 중흥을 주제로 열리는 이번 행사는 4개분야에 16개 테마행사로 진행됩니다.

주요프로그램을 보면 탐라개벽신위제와 탐라문화가장축제, 무형문화재 축제,
제주어축제, 문화교류행사, 문화체험행사 등입니다.

제주도는 관람객들의 편의를 위해 제주항 국제여객선 터미널의 주차장을 무료로 개방하는 한편 셔틀버스도 운행할 예정입니다.
