JTO’s payments based on number of flights and foreign passengers

Local officials are boosting the monetary incentive for chartered flights to the island.

The Jeju Tourism Organization is offering up to four million won per chartered flight if there are at least five monthly. Companies will receive up to seven million won per flight for fewer than five a month.

If more than 90 percent of the seats on those flights are occupied by non-Koreans, the JTO will add another one million won to the total. On the other hand, it will cut its incentive by one million won if less than 50 percent of the tickets are sold to foreign travelers.

전세기 인센티브 최대 800만 원 차등 지급

제주에 오는 전세기에 최대 800만 원의 인센티브가 지급될 계획입니다.

제주관광공사가 밝힌 전세기 인센티브 지원 기준에 따르면 월 5편 이상 운항하는 정기성 전세기에는 최대 편당 400만 원까지 월 4편 이하 단발성 전세기는 700만 원을 지원합니다.

다만, 편당 공급좌석의 90% 이상을 외국인으로 채울 경우 100만 원을 추가 지급하고 50% 미만일 경우 100만 원을 삭감하는 등 차등 지급합니다.
