1. Moon Dae-rim secures Democratic nomination for governorship

The Democratic Party of Korea has selected Moon Dae-rim as its gubernatorial candidate in the June 13th elections.

The party’s supreme council released Wednesday its candidate list in all elections in the country’s 17 major cities and provinces.

Mr. Moon said he feels a heavy sense of responsibility as the candidate because he believes this is a crucial time for the presidency of Moon Jae-in, who also represents the Democratic Party. The candidate promised to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with islanders as he seeks the governorship.

문대림 예비후보가 6.13 지방선거 더불어민주당 제주도지사 후보로 최종 확정됐습니다.

더불어민주당 중앙당 최고위원회는 오늘(25일) 전국 17개 시도광역 단체장 후보를 확정하면서 제주의 문대림 후보를 포함했습니다.

문대림 후보는 새정부 출범과 함께 지방선거를 앞두고 후보로 선출돼 어깨가 무겁다며 지방선거 승리를 목표로 도민과 함께하는 후보가 되겠다고 밝혔습니다.
