5. Jeju City to plant 500k trees
City working with 2 organizations to plant trees at Sarabong Park

Jeju City plans to plant 500,000 trees.

Local officials signed an agreement Monday related to this project with the National Forestry Cooperative Federation. They will sign another agreement with the Innisfree Moeum Foundation February 28th after planting the first of the 500,000 trees that are planned for Sarabong Park.

Local officials also plan to give away 5,000 trees during the Jeju Fire Festival.


제주시, 50만그루 나무심기사업 추진

제주시가 50만그루 나무심기 사업을 추진합니다.

이를 위해 18일 시청 본관회의실에서 산림조합중앙회와 '50만그루 나무심기 협약'을 체결할 예정입니다.

이어 28일에는 50만 나무심기 기념 상징숲 조성 예정지인 사라봉공원에서 기념 식수하고 '이니스프리 모음재단'과 협약을 맺습니다.

또 다음달 열리는 들불축제 기간에 나무 5천그루를 무료로 나눠주는 행사를 통해 분위기를 확산시켜나갈 계획입니다.
