4. More cameras to crack down on illegal parking
Jeju City plans to finish installation in June

In related news, Jeju City is expanding the number of surveillance cameras it uses to crack down on illegal parking and stopping on city streets.

Eight cameras will be installed at seven locations, including (월정리) Woljeong-ri in (구좌읍) Gujwa-eup, the bus stop at (함덕) Hamdeok Beach in (조천읍) Jocheon-eup, and the intersection at the Nohyeong-dong Post Office.

The city plans to finish the installation by June and start using the cameras in August.

The city currently has 211 of these cameras set up and running to prevent drivers from illegally stopping or parking their cars.

제주시, 불법 주정차 단속 CCTV 확충

제주시가 올해 상반기에 불법 주정차 차량을 단속하기 위한 CCTV를 확대 설치합니다.

확충되는 CCTV는 모두 8대로 구좌읍 월정리와 조천읍 함덕해수욕장 정류소,
노형동 우편집중국 사거리 등 7곳에 설치됩니다.

제주시는 오는 6월까지 설치 공사를 마무리한 뒤 8월부터 본격 단속을 시작할 예정입니다.

제주시 지역에는 현재 주정차 단속 CCTV 211대가 운영되고 있습니다.
