Temporary suspension of public facilities extended until October 5
Province remains cautious as rate of infections remains high

The temporary suspension of public facilities in Jeju Island has been extended to the 5th of next month.

The provincial government launched a lifestyle quarantine committee and announced that the reopening date for public facilities has been moved from September 14 to October 5th.

With daily infections across the nation remaining above 100 and also in preparation of the large number of travelers expected during the Chuseok holidays, the province has taken measures to prevent a possible outbreak on the island.

Jeju is planning to continue inspections and patrols in highly populated areas to ensure that the public is wearing masks and abiding by social distancing rules.

오는 14일 종료될 예정이던
공공시설 일시 운영 중지 방침을
다음달 5일까지 연장한다고 밝혔습니다.

아직도 전국 일일 확진자가 100명 이상 발생하는 등
집단 감염이 지속되고 있고,
추석 연휴에 유동인구가 증가할 것으로 예상되는데 따른 결정입니다.

제주도는 도내 다중밀집장소를 대상으로
마스크 착용 등 방역순찰을 지속한다는 방침입니다.
