Jeju lemon exported to Hong Kong
100kg of lemons exported on April 20

For the first time in the nation, Jeju harvested lemons have been exported to Hong Kong.

According to the Jeju Agricultural Research and Extension Services, lemons produced at a farmhouse in Seongeup-ri, Pyoseon-myeon, were exported to Hong Kong on the 20th after the Jeju grown lemons were selected as a promising export item in February.

The total export volume was 100kg and the price is set at 4,500 won per kg.

The institute will monitor the market response and work to expand the overseas market for Jeju lemons.


6. 제주산 레몬 국내서 처음으로 홍콩에 수출

제주산 레몬이 국내에서는 처음으로 홍콩 수출길에 올랐습니다.

제주도 농업기술원 동부농업기술센터에 따르면
지난 2월 제주산 레몬이 수출유망품목으로 선정된 이후
20일 표선면 성읍리 농가에서 생산한 레몬이
처음 홍콩으로 시범 수출됐습니다.

수출 물량은 100kg으로 가격은 kg당 4천500원입니다.

동부농업기술센터는 시장 반응을 확인하고
제주산 레몬에 대한 해외 수출 창구를 확대할 계획입니다.
