Due to recent aggravation of natural disasters such as typhoons and heavy rainfall caused by climate change, Jeju has urged residents to subscribe to wind and flood insurance.

Wind and flood insurance is supported mainly by the government and local authorities, providing compensation for damages caused by natural disasters such as typhoons, heavy rainfall, strong winds, and earthquakes.

The compensation covers residential buildings, greenhouses, shops, and factories, with insurance premiums for residential buildings being supported from 85% to 100%.

For those wishing to enroll can apply at seven private insurance companies, local district offices, or the Jeju Regional Branch of the SME Corporation.



제주도, 자연재해 대비 풍수해보험 가입 당부

제주도가 최근 기후변화로 태풍이나 집중호우와 같은 자연재해가 심화됨에 따라 풍수해보험 가입을 당부했습니다.

풍수해보험은 정부와 지방자치단체에서 보험료 대부분을 지원해 주는 정책보험으로 태풍과 호우, 강풍, 지진 등 자연재난 대상으로 인한 피해에 대한 실질적인 보상을 받을 수 있습니다.

보상 대상은 주택과 온실, 상가, 공장이 해당되며 주택 보험료는 85에서 100%까지 지원됩니다.

풍수해보험 가입을 희망할 경우 7개 민간 보험사와 읍면동 주민센터, 중소기업중앙회로 문의하면 됩니다.
