Seogwipo City offers ongoing assistance to low-income students at elementary, middle and high schools, as well as to those under 18 not enrolled in school, by subsidizing their eyeglass purchases.

The support amount is up to 100,000 KRW once a year per person. Applicants can submit their application forms, along with a glasses prescription and purchase receipt, to their local community service centers.

Seogwipo City plans to support the purchase of glasses for 400 youths this year.

서귀포시가 저소득층 초중고 재학생과
18살 미만 학교밖 청소년에 대한
시력 교정용 안경 구입비를 연중 지원합니다.

지원 금액은 1인당 연 1회, 최대 10만 원으로
읍면동 주민센터에 신청서와 안경 처방전, 구입영수증 등을 제출하면 됩니다.

서귀포시는 올해 400명의 청소년에게
안경구입비를 지원할 계획입니다.
