Seogwipo City is encouraging eco-friendly initiatives by providing dedicated trash bags to residents and tourists taking part in plogging?an activity that combines jogging with litter collection.

As part of efforts to encourage activities that promote both health and environmental conservation, each participant can receive one bag per day.

The plogging bags can be requested by visiting Seogwipo City Hall or local town and district offices. Participants can dispose of the filled bags at nearby Clean Houses or Recycling Help Centers.

Over the past two years, Seogwipo City has distributed approximately 14,000 plogging bags, with an estimated total of over 21 tons of waste collected through the initiative.

건강과 환경보전을
함께 실천할 수 있는 활동 독려의 일환으로
봉투는
1인당 1일 1매를 지원받을 수 있습니다.

플로깅 전용봉투는
서귀포시 또는
읍면동 주민센터에 방문해 신청하면
수령할 수 있고
플로깅 활동 후 쓰레기가 담긴 봉투는
가까운 클린하우스와
재활용도움센터에 배출하면 됩니다.

한편 서귀포시가
지난 2년간 지급한 플로깅 봉투는 1만4천여 매로
이를 통해 수거된 쓰레기는
21톤이 넘을 것으로 추산되고 있습니다.
