Seogwipo City will invest 2 billion KRW this year to restore Oreums (parasitic cones) and Wetlands.

A total of 27 sites, including Gasi (가시) Oreum and Nansan-ri (난산리) Wetland, are set for maintenance work, with efforts focused on repairing damaged safety facilities and dredging wetlands.

Seogwipo City is prioritizing the preservation of its natural landscape as it moves forward with restoration efforts.
In the latter half of the year, officials will carry out surveys to identify additional areas requiring maintenance, ensuring ongoing conservation work.

오름과 습지를 정비합니다.

정비 대상지는
가시오름과 난산리 습지 등 27곳으로
훼손된 안전시설 보강과
습지 준설 등을 중점점으로 실시합니다.

서귀포시는 정비 시 원형훼손을 최소화하고
하반기에는 읍면동 수요조사와
지역주민 의견을 수렴해
추가 정비 필요 대상지를 검토 후
지속적으로 정비할 계획입니다.
