As wildfires continue to occur across the country, Jeju Province is intensifying its prevention efforts.

To this end, a 24-hour management system will be in operation, with full readiness of firefighting equipment, including wildfire suppression helicopters and off-road pump trucks.

Special security duties will be conducted during the two seasonal milestones of Hanshik (한식), Cheongmyeong (청명), as well as Buddha's Birthday. Additionally, fire suppression training will be carried out for cultural heritage sites and traditional temples.

Moreover, drones will be used to help monitor blind spots of wildfire watches, and efforts to crack down on illegal burning of agricultural waste will be strengthened.

산불진압장비 100% 가동 준비는 물론
산불진화 헬기와
험지펌프차 등 출동태세를 구축합니다.

특히 한식과 청명, 부처님오신날 기간에
특별경계근무를 실시하며
문화재와 전통사찰 등에 대한 화재진압훈련을 진행합니다.

이와 함께 드론을 활용해
산불감시원의 사각지대를 감시하고
영농폐기물 불법소각행위에 대한 단속을 강화합니다.
