Jeju City will support reusable containers for 10 upcoming events, including the Jeonnong-ro (전농로) Cherry Blossom Festival and the Earth Day Festival.

The initiative aims to encourage citizens and tourists to adopt eco-friendly practices and reduce single-use waste generated during festivals.

Last year, Jeju City allocated 50 million KRW to provide 50,000 reusable containers for 9 events.

전농로 왕벚꽃 축제와 지구환축제 등 10개 행사에
다회용기를 지원합니다.

이를 통해 시민과 관광객들에게
친환경 생활 실천을 유도하고
축제에서 배출되는
1회용품 폐기물을 줄여 나갈 방침입니다.

제주시는 지난해 5천만 원의 예산을 들여
9개 행사에
다회용기 5만 개를 지원했습니다.
