Jeju was the only region in South Korea to see a continued decline in land prices.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, national land prices rose by 0.5% in the first quarter of this year compared to the previous quarter, while Jeju’s land prices fell by 0.21%.

Jeju’s land prices have now declined for six consecutive quarters, starting from the fourth quarter of 2023.

Meanwhile, land transactions in Jeju during the first quarter totaled approximately 5,200 parcels, marking a 23.7% decrease compared to the previous quarter.

제주 지역 땅 값이 전국에서 유일하게 하락세를 이어갔습니다.

국토부에 따르면 올해 1분기 전국 땅값은
지난해 4분기보다 0.5% 올랐지만
제주는 0.21% 떨어졌습니다.

제주 땅 값은 지난 2023년 4분기부터
여섯 분기 연속 하락세를 보였습니다.

1분기 제주 토지 거래량은 5천 2백여 필지로
전 분기보다 23.7% 감소했습니다.
