More than two months after the introduction of AI digital textbooks, student engagement with the platform in Jeju remains low, with access rates stuck in the single digits.

According to materials submitted by Democratic Party lawmaker Baek Seung-ah (백승아), a member of the National Assembly’s Education Committee, the Digital Textbook Central Support Center received around 5,200 inquiries as of March.

More than half of these were related to login issues and consent for personal information.

Even after completing the registration process, the platform access rate among Jeju students remained low at 6.9% for elementary students, 7.5% for middle school students, and just 1.5% for high school students.

한 자릿수에 그치며
활용이 저조한 것으로 나타났습니다.

국회 교육위원회 소속 더불어민주당 백승아 의원이
교육부로부터 제출 받은 자료에 따르면
지난 3월 기준으로 디지털교과서 중앙상담센터에 접수된 민원은 모두 5천200건에 이르고 있습니다.

이 가운데 접속 문제와 개인정보 동의 등 가입 관련 문의가 절반 이상을 차지했습니다.

가입 이후 후에도 제주지역 학생들의 디지털교과서 플랫폼 접속 비율은 초등학생 6.9% ,
중학생은 7.5%, 고등학생은 1.5%로 나타났습니다.
