Seogwipo (서귀포) City has created a 500-square-meter garden to be showcased at the 2025 Seoul International Garden Expo, which will run until October.

The Seogwipo Garden is designed to reflect Jeju's unique natural environment and features three themes: the "Meadow Garden" inspired by Jeju's volcanic hills, the "Rainwater Garden" mimicking the Ramsar Wetlands, and the "Shade Garden" depicting the ecosystem of the Gotjawal (곶자왈) forests.

Seogwipo City explained that participating in this expo will help raise awareness of both Jeju's ecological resources and the city's garden brand value nationwide.



서울국제정원박람회에 '서귀포시정원' 조성

오는 10월까지 열리는 2025 서울국제정원박람회에

서귀포시정원을 조성했습니다.

서귀포시정원은
제주 고유의 자연환경을 반영해
오름을 모티브로 한 '초지정원',
람사르습지를 재현한 '빗물정원',
곶자왈 생태환경을 연출한 '그늘정원' 등 3가지 테마로 구성됐습니다.

서귀포시는
이번 박람회 참여를 통해
제주 생태자원은 물론
서귀포의 정원 브랜드 가치를
전국에 알릴 수 있게 됐다고 설명했습니다.
