With a recent resurgence of COVID-19 in key Asian regions such as Hong Kong and China, health authorities in Jeju are on high alert.

According to the Province, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in China has more than doubled this month compared to March.

In Hong Kong, the current spread has reached levels even higher than the peak during last summer's wave.

Although South Korea has not yet seen a notable increase in COVID-19 cases, Jeju's visa-free entry policy requires heightened vigilance.

Jeju health officials are urging residents and visitors to follow personal hygiene protocols. They also recommend vaccinations for high-risk groups, including those over 65 and individuals in vulnerable facilities, to prevent potential outbreaks.

아직 우리나라에서는 코로나19 환자가 증가하고 있진 않지만
제주의 경우
무비자 지역인 만큼 주의가 요구되고 있습니다.

제주도 방역 당국은
개인 위생 수칙을 준수하고
65살 이상 어르신이나
감염취약시설 입소자 등
고위험군의 경우 예방접종을 당부했습니다.
