Jeju will invest 1.12 billion won, including national funding, to run the Carbon Neutral Point Program this year. The program provides incentives based on energy savings.

In the energy sector, households and businesses may receive up to 200,000 won a year. Refunds are paid in cash or local currently ‘Tamnaneunjeon’ (탐나는전), depending on reductions in electricity, water, and city gas use.

In the vehicle sector, non-commercial vehicles with 12 seats or fewer are eligible. Up to 100,000 won may be paid in cash based on reduced mileage.

Approximately 114,400 households are currently participating in the Carbon Neutral Point Program.

탄소중립포인트제는 현재 11만 4천400여 가구가 참여하고 있습니다.
