Jeju Province is recruiting a citizen participation panel to help improve its Regional Safety Index.

The panel will analyze causes and propose improvements in six areas. These include traffic accidents, fires, crime, daily safety, suicide, and infectious diseases.

Participants will be organized into small groups by field, and applications can be submitted by visit, mail, or online through the 27th.

The activity period runs through the end of this year, and members will be selected randomly with consideration given to gender, age, and region of residence.

Jeju plans to use the operation of this participation group to identify safety issues felt by residents and to pursue mid- to long-term plans aimed at achieving Grade 2 status in all sectors by 2030.

제주도가 지역안전지수 등급 개선에 참여할 도민참여단을 모집합니다.

도민참여단은 교통사고와 화재, 범죄와 생활안전 그리고
자살과 감염병 등 6개 분야에서 원인을 분석하고 개선과제를 마련하는 역할을 맡습니다.

참여단은 분야별 소그룹으로 구성되며, 오는 27일까지 방문이나 우편, 온라인 등을 통해 신청할 수 있습니다.

활동기간은 올 연말까지로 성별과 연령·거주지역 등을 고려해 무작위로 선발할 계획입니다.

제주도는 이번 참여단 운영을 통해 도민이 체감하는 안전 문제를 발굴하고, 2030년까지 모든 분야 2등급 달성을 목표로 중장기 계획을 추진할 방침입니다.
