Unlike the nationwide upward trend, unsold housing continues to pile up in Jeju, and land prices are also falling.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Jeju's land price change rate in the first half of this year dropped 0.46%, the only decline among the nation's 17 cities and provinces.

Unsold housing units totaled 2,800, up 100 from this past April, nearing the all-time high of 2,850 units recorded in November 2024.

Due to loan regulations and high presale prices, Jeju's real estate slump is expected to continue for the time being.
