Seogwipo City is expanding customized, life-cycle forest welfare programs that use forest recreation resources to promote citizens' health.

Accordingly, the Seogwipo Healing Forest will offer its flagship ‘Well-Aging Health Forest’ program for residents at risk of health problems, as well as the prevention and management of metabolic syndrome.

Eligible participants are residents who require health management due to conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes. Priority will be given to those diagnosed with metabolic syndrome and others considered at high health risk, including people with obesity.

Applications will be accepted through the Seogwipo e-Ticket website starting August 4.



서귀포치유의숲, 맞춤형 산림복지 프로그램 운영

서귀포시가 시민 건강증진을 위해
산림휴양자원을 활용한 생애주기별 맞춤형 산림복지 프로그램을 확대 운영합니다.

이에따라 서귀포치유의숲은
대표 프로그램인 '웰 에이징 건강숲'을
건강 위험군 주민을 대상으로 운영하며
건강한 노화와 대사증후군 예방, 관리를 지원합니다.

참여 대상은 고혈압이나 당뇨병 등으로 건강관리가 필요한 도민이며
대사증후군 진단자와
비만자 등 건강 위험군이 우선 선정됩니다.

참가 신청은 다음달 4일부터 서귀포E티켓을 통해 가능합니다.
