The Tamna Youth Start Package, a congratulatory incentive program for young people relocating to Jeju, will close early due to budget exhaustion.

Jeju Province said applications have reached approximately 3,000, and factoring in the second round of payments, the budget is expected to be fully used up.

The province urged applicants to complete registration through the Government website (plus.gov.kr) before the program closes.

The province has paid first-round relocation incentives to 2,159 people as of last month, and starting next month will begin second-round support for young people who have kept their resident registration for at least six months.


청년 전입장려금 '탐라청년출발패키지' 조기 마감 임박


제주에 전입하는 청년들을 대상으로 하는 축하장려금 지급 사업인
'탐라청년출발패키지'가 예산 소진으로 조만감 마감됩니다.

제주도는
현재 사업 신청 건수가 3천여 건에 달해
2차 지급분까지 감안할 경우 예산이 100% 소진될 것으로
예상된다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 사업 마감 전까지 정부24를 통해 신청을 마쳐줄 것을 당부했습니다.

제주도는 지난달까지 2천159명에게 1차 전입 축하금을 지급했으며,
다음달부터는 주민등록을 6개월 이상 유지한 청년을 대상으로
2차 지원을 시작합니다.
