Jeju's policy to cut single-use items in daily life is expanding from campgrounds to movie theaters.

Starting this month, Jeju Province will replace popcorn containers and drink cups at concession stands with reusable containers at three Megabox locations.

Used containers will be collected, washed, and resupplied by a specialized cleaning company in a circular system.

Jeju Province plans to gradually expand reusable container use to other concession-stand food items as well.

생활 속 일회용품 줄이기 정책이 야영장에 이어 영화관으로 확대됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 이달부터 도내 메가박스 3개 지점에서
매점 팝콘 용기와 음료컵을 다회용기로 교체해 운영합니다.

사용한 다회용기는 전문 세척업체가 회수해 세척한 뒤 다시 공급하는 방식으로 순환됩니다.

제주도는 앞으로 즉석구이 등 영화관 매점에서 판매하는 음식 용기까지 다회용기 사용을 단계적으로 넓여갈 계획입니다.
