Jeju Province has set a target of securing 2.45 trillion won in state funding for next year and will step up negotiations with the central government.

The province held a state-funding strategy meeting chaired by Governor Wi Seong-gon (위성곤), to review major pending projects and discuss strategies for securing government funding.

Key projects include support for Jeju as a leading city for public delivery app promotion, development of a global workation hub center, building AI-based distributed energy infrastructure, creation of a K-pop performance venue, and revitalizing the April 3rd Peace Park, totaling 2.45 trillion won.

With the Ministry of Planning and Budget's review approaching, Governor Wi called for proactive efforts to secure funding results that reflect Jeju's unique character.
