4. Typhoon Soulik: ￦5.4b in damage
Majority of problems in public sector

Authorities say the cleanup in the wake of Typhoon Soulik will cost about 5.4 billion won.

The provincial government says the 19th major storm of the season caused roughly 4 billion won in damage to public facilities. That includes damage to the (위미) Wimi Port breakwater, the flooding of three roads, the loss of one river facility, and ceiling damage at the Jeju Complex Gymnasium.

The remaining roughly 1.4 billion won in damage to private property includes damage to greenhouses and fish farms.

The province has extended the damage report period until Monday because some crops exhibit problems only after some period of time.

태풍 솔릭 피해, 53억 5천만 원 잠정 집계

제19호 태풍 솔릭으로 인한 제주 피해규모가 53억 5천만 원으로 잠정 집계됐습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 공공시설은 위미항 방파제 유실와 도로 침수 3곳,
하천시설 유실 1곳, 복합체육관 천장 파손 등 40억 원의 피해가 발생했습니다.

사유시설은 비닐하우스와 수산양식시설 파손 등 13억 5천만 원으로 집계됐습니다.

제주도는 농작물의 경우 일정 기일이 지난 뒤 피해가 나타나는 만큼 신고기간을 오는 10일까지 연장해 접수하고 있습니다.
