5. JTO developing premium Jeju tour packages
Organization will discuss proposals with 15 firms in 10 countries

The provincial government and the Jeju Tourism Organization are teaming up with Korean and foreign travel agencies to develop premium tour packages to the island.

Officials from the province and the JTO participated in the Korea Luxury Travelmart Tuesday in Seoul. There they spoke with travel agents about developing high-end packages that include cycling, marine leisure sports, and other activities.

About 300 people took part in the event. The foreign buyers, travel agents from here and abroad, and people involved in luxury content were all selected by the Korea Tourism Organization.

The JTO plans to outline Jeju’s premium tour offerings to 15 firms from ten countries, including the US, Australia, and the UAE.

이 행사에는 한국관광공사가 선정한 해외바이어와 국내외 여행사, 럭셔리콘텐츠 관계자 300여 명이 참가합니다.

제주관광공사는 미국과 호주, 아랍에미리트 등 10개국 15개 업체와 상담을 진행하고 프리미엄 콘텐츠를 소개할 예정입니다.
