Province heightens COVID-19 prevention measures

Beaches in Jeju Island have officially opened today and the beach season will run until the end of August.

In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID 19, Jeju Island plans to create separate isolation areas at 11 beaches in the province and maintain a gap of more than two meters between the installation of various items, such as parasols.

Entry logs will be required for shower and dressing rooms and people with symptoms will be restricted.

The province plans to place 270 dedicated personnel in charge of safety and disease prevention at the beaches, as well as provide temperature testing equipment and hand sanitizers.

4. 내일, 해수욕장 개장…코로나19 대응 강화

내일(1일) 일제히 개장해 8월 말까지 운영됩니다.

제주도는
코로나19 예방을 위해
도내 11개 해수욕장에 별도의 격리공간을 만들고
파라솔 같은 각종 시설물 설치도
2미터 이상 간격을 유지하도록 할 계획입니다.

샤워실과 탈의실도
출입자 명부를 작성해 관리하고
유증상자는 이용을 제한할 방침입니다.

제주도는
해수욕장에 안전과 방역을 담당할
전담 인력 270여 명을 배치하고
발열검사 장비와 손소독제도 비치할 계획입니다.
