Jeju Island’s mandarin season is here.
That means farms that offer mandarin picking are opening their doors to the public. A favorite activity on the island, especially amongst tourists, the experience provides plenty of fresh air and sunshine.

Branches are heavy with plump mandarins.
Visitors hold scissors and roam between trees to find attractive fruit.
Their bags will be quickly filled up with golden mandarins.
Visitors just lose track of time at the farm.

Families have pleasant chats in the warm sun tasting the mandarin they harvested.
This is a memorable moment that should be caught on camera.

The mandarin picking event is organized by the Seogwipo Agricultural Research & Extension Service.

Participants can eat as much of the fruit as they can and take a bag of the fruit home with them as a souvenir after paying a
3,000 won admission fee.

This year, the number of participants is limited to 50 per hour due to the pandemic. Therefore, online reservation is recommended.

The healthy activity at the farm of the Seogwipo Agricultural Research & Extension Service continues until December 11th.
