12 beaches to open on July 1
Beaches to be closed at night

This year, the beaches in Jeju will open on the 1st of next month and will not open at night in accordance with the COVID-19 quarantine measures.

The province held a beach council on the 11th and decided to open 12 beaches in the province from the 1st of next month to August 31st.

Operating hours during this period are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the beaches will not open early or at night due to strengthened quarantine measures.

However, the operating hours for (이호테우) Iho Taewoo and Samyang beaches, will be extended by one hour and will operate until 8 pm for one month between July 15th to August 15th.

4. 도내 12개 해수욕장 내달 1일 개장…야간개장 없어

올해 제주도내 해수욕장은 다음달 1일 개장하고
코로나19 방역을 위해 야간 개장은 하지 않습니다.

제주도는
11일 해수욕장협의회를 열고
도내 12개 해수욕장을 다음달 1일부터 8월 31일까지
개장하기로 결정했습니다.

이 기간 운영시간은
오전 10시부터 저녁 7시까지로
방역 강화를 위해 조기 개장이나 야간 개장은 하지 않습니다.

다만 야간 개장을 했던 이호테우와 삼양해수욕장에 한해
다음달 15일부터 8월 15일까지 운영시간이 저녁 8시까지 한 시간 연장됩니다.
