As the Jeju Value Integrated Care program, a cornerstone of social welfare support under the 8th administration marks its sixth month of implementation, meal support services emerge as the most favored among recipients.

According to the Province, the current number of residents who have applied for integrated care is 1,018.

By service type, meal support is the highest, with over 600 people, followed by housekeeping, home bathing, and emergency care.

However, applications from individuals under 65 years old are low at 12%, indicating a need for improved promotion and enhancement.

Implemented in October, the ‘Jeju Value Integrated Care program allows residents to receive tailored services when needed.



제주가치 통합돌봄 1천 명 넘어…식사 지원 '최다'

민선8기 사회복지 핵심공약인 제주가치 통합돌봄이 시행된 지 6개월 째에 접어든 가운데 식사 지원 서비스가 가장 호응을 얻는 것으로 파악됐습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 현재 통합돌봄을 신청한 도민은 1천 18명으로 집계됐습니다.

서비스 별로 보면 식사지원이 600여 명으로 가장 많았고 가사지원, 방문목욕, 긴급돌봄 순으로 나타났습니다.

다만 65살 이하 청장년 신청이 12%로 저조해
홍보 강화 등 개선이 요구되고 있습니다.

지난 10월부터 시행된 제주가치통합돌봄은
도민 누구나 돌봄이 필요할 때 맞춤형 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 정책입니다.
