While national apartment prices are rebounding, Jeju continues to see a slight decline.

According to the Korea Real Estate Board, both sale and lease deposit prices on the island fell by 0.04% in the final week of last month.

This marks over three years of decline or stagnation in Jeju’s real estate market since August 2022.

This stands in sharp contrast to national prices, which have recently continued to rise.

Experts attribute the cooling market to several key factors, including loan restrictions, a surplus of unsold homes, and a decrease in outside investment.
