Agencies in Jeju are moving early to stabilize prices and counter the impact of tariff-free U.S. mandarins.

Jeju Province, the Jeju Agricultural Products Supply and Demand Management Center, and the Jeju branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation have recently discussed measures to stabilize prices for late-maturing citrus.

Authorities and agricultural groups agreed to move up measures such as shipment timing adjustments, quality control, and support for issuing coupons.

Officials also plan to convene a Citrus Committee to review additional price-management and response measures related to imported mandarins.

아울러 가격 안정을 위한 추가 관리 방안과
수입 만다린 유입에 따른 대응 방향을
종합적으로 점검하기 위한 감귤위원회를 개최하기로 했습니다.
